Place: Kelok 44

Kelok 44, literally "44 turns," is a famous stretch of road that involves hairpin bends to descend the steep side of an old crater to reach Lake Maninjau. Descending 1500ft over a stretch of 5 miles, the bends are labeled, many turns offering spectacular views of the lake below. Zoom in on the map above and you can see the bends represented.
